Yeah so as I'm pulling into the gym this morning, right behind me were two fire chiefs, followed closely by 2 fire trucks. They stopped in front of one of the other places in the complex.

As I'm in the lockerroom changing my shoes the lights go out.

Seems they turned off the power to the whole complex.

I don't think working out in the dark would be enjoyable. ugh.

It's hard enough getting my ass there. *headdesk*

guess I'm going after lunch.

Meep, that'd be a bit scary to have the lights turned off like that when you don't expect it.

And this is where I make a bad joke about how there's only one kind of working out that's enjoyable in the dark. Ha! ba da ba ding!

Better late than never, I guess.

I actually managed to life weights last night before collapsing into bed. I wasn't able to do it at all last week, as I had a nasty cold and have learned the hard way not to work out hard when I am sick. (I'd like to avoid another bout of asthmatic bronchitis, thank you!)

not that I know of but I left like 10 minutes after I got there and the firetrucks were all out front.
