no no...CK..I honestly don't know what's going on. That's why I asked. And obviously halo has a problem too or she wouldn't have posted the icon for the user. I'm just confused and wondering if I've missed something. You're probably not off base at all! More like I'm clueless! *laugh*

I was friended by both. :: shrug :: the second one I have issues with - it's someone who obviously gacked the list of most recent posters at the time they created the journal and used it to set up an account to try to draw people to their website. The first? Is it that uncommon for someone to set up a journal so they can read fic? I have people on my friend of list that do so, and I've always found it better to know so that I don't feel obligated to friend them back, not that anyone should feel such obligation, but, yeah. anyway.

I don't think you're touchy. they may possibly have not known you had a fic journal. my experience with most people is that if you ask them to take you off their friends list they're more than likely to do it. give that a shot?

I was "friended" by the second one too. It is annoying. If people are going to promote like that or whatever it is they're doing, they should at least have the decency to admit to it.
